London’s High Court ruled that the 2012 slur wrongly painted him as a “disreputable man” and awarded Mr Stocker, of Aston Clinton, Bucks, £5,000 compensation.
Mrs Stocker, of nearby Longwick, challenged the verdict but lost her case at the Court of Appeal.
The keen horse-rider, who runs a B&B, faces a £200,000 costs bill from the original case and £100,000 from her failed appeal.
