Dr. Avinash Dadhich’s area of specialization lies in the fields of Competition Law, Market Regulation & Intellectual Property. Armed with a Ph.D in Competition Law & IPRs on full scholarship from Bangor University, Wales, UK, he completed his Master of Laws (LL.M) with a focus on International and European Law from University of Toulouse in France on a full scholarship awarded by the French Government and earned his first degree in Law (LL.B) from Delhi University.
Prior to taking this position, Dr. Dadhich has worked as an Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Manager (Competition Law) with Deloitte India LLP, Senior Consultant (Competition Law) at Ernst & Young LLP & Senior Expert (Law), Competition Commission of India (CCI), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India. He has also worked with some the best International law firms; Gide Loyrette Nouel LLP, Paris, France & White & Case LLP, Brussels, Belgium.
In April 2015, Dr. Dadhich was invited by Department of States’, USA Government to visit New York, Washington DC, Iowa City and San Francisco as Antitrust Fellow to meet senior people from Antitrust law authorities (FTC &DoJ) under International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP).
As a legal scholar with a special acumen in Competition law, he has numerous publications in both national and international journals to his credit. He has also been a Visiting Scholar to various international universities of repute such as King’s College London, Max Planck Institute of IP and Competition Law, Munich, Germany and Institute of European Studies, Brussels, Belgium.
Dr. Dadhich teaches competition and IP law as visiting faculty at Toulouse Law School, Toulouse, France, School of Competition Law & Regulation, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, India and National Law University, Delhi. He has delivered lectures on competition law at many Indian and international universities including, National Law School of India University Bangalore, IIT Delhi Business School, Indian Law Institute (ILI), Indian Society for International Law (ISIL), CUTS Institute of Regulation and Competition (CIRC), Science Po, Toulouse, France, The National Academy of Indian Railways, Vadodara, Gujrat and Lyon Business School, Lyon, France.
